Dramatic rocky beach landscapeThe creative geniuses at Far Off Places have just launched Issue Two. It’s beautifully crafted and stuffed with lovely images, prose and poetry. And for a certain two Binge Inkers, it’s a particular delight: they have published a short story by me and a lovely poem by Emma Cooke. To read these you will need to purchase a copy of Issue 2, but here’s the deal: it is an incredible bargain at £1.99 for more than 60 pages of imaginative, visionary, poignant and penetrating writing, not to mention gorgeous art. Go for it!

I was thrilled to see the stunning cover by Lee Harrison which illustrates my short story, ‘At Yesnaby’. You really need to see his wild and powerful drawing.

I’ll be reviewing Issue 2 on DJ Mac in due course, but meantime you can listen to the Far Off Places podcast of ‘At Yesnaby’ read by Sian Fiddimore here.

The editors are looking for submissions for Issue 3 on the theme of ‘Under the Bed’. The closing date is July 15th 2013.

And did I say to buy a copy of Issue 2? Can’t remember whether I mentioned it now or not…
