There’s a workshop in Edinburgh on the 18th January, so just enough time to get on it. Memories and dreams will be used as inspiration to catalyse new writing. This is a practical workshop (plenty of writing) run by Janis Mackay of Edinburgh University. Find out more here.

Amongst other things Neon magazine likes stories about the apocalyptic. They are looking for submissions (poetry or prose) before the end of February 2014. They will pay you a small royalty if published. Creative Scotland has more details.
